The Human Whale make a fun day out for the family, timed to coincide with the winter school holidays and the end of Port Stephens annual Naturefest which celebrates the regions many conservationists and the expert cruise operators from Moonshadow-TQC and imagine who work alongside them to take people into the heart of the off-shore action and deepen the appreciation of this magnificent wild creatures.
Event Managers this year Frank Future from imagine cruises and Mel Turner of Moonshadow-TQC cruises collaborated with Destination Port Stephens and local Fingal Bay businesses this year.
The event will also be supported by Educational Displays from OCCI ( ocean & coastal care initiatives ), Irukandji Shark and Ray Encounters, Marine Parks and some fun activities for the kids such as face painting, arts and crafts sponsored by Bill Knaggs Real Estate.
Registrations open at 10am at Fingal Beach in preparation for everyone to commence formation of the Whale under the expert guidance of Frank Future of imagine Cruises at 11:45am for the feat to be captured b drone by 12noon.
Participants are encouraged to enjoy special offers by our sponsors.Salt Water Cafe will be offering 10% off their lunch menu, Long Boat Cafe will have ‘ Whale Specials’ on offer to registered participants on the day and Fingal SLSC will host their fundraising sausage sizzle.
