Oakvale Wildlife Park

Set on 25 acres Oakvale Wildlife Park is 100% Australian owned and operated. At the park you will find an endless menagerie of Australian native, domestic farm and exotic animals such as koalas, kangaroos, Tasmanian devils, goats, sheep, rabbits, alligators and ostriches. Plus many, many more.

Established in November 1979 by Jeff and Elaine Sansom and later passed down to their son Kent Sansom in 1995. Oakvale Wildlife Park has remained a family owned and operated business for more than 39 years.

Since 1979 the farm has undergone countless changes. The most recent of which is our koala breeding and education centre ‘Koala Country’.
However, one thing that remains the same is our commitment to providing an opportunity for our customers to learn about our native wildlife and how we can protect it.

We strive to provide a fun, safe, educational and value for money experience for the whole family.

Come and spend the day with us from Free Roaming Animals you can hand feed, Keeper Talks, Feeding Shows, 2 fenced large shaded playgrounds, complimentary BBQ facilities and onsite cafe for you to enjoy lunch in our Tea Room or one of our undercover picnic area’s.  Don’t forget about our Splash Bay Water Park which is a great way to cool off or have a little fun, open all year round – don’t forget your swimmers!!!  Grab a photo at our Photo Booth with an animal of your choice, join one of our private Wildlife Encounters or purchase a sovereign to take home from our Gift Shop.

There is always something on throughout the day to keep everyone entertained.

Oakvale Wildlife Park’s pathways are well maintained and hard packed allowing easy access for prams, wheelchairs, mobility scooters and walkers.  Our Tractor Trailer Rides provide a great assistance for our less mobile guests to experience all we have to offer.

Disabled toilets and showers are located on site and we also provide a JennSwing in our playground which is a full support swing seat for children with physical disabilities or special needs.

Oakvale Wildlife Park are proud to be Ecotourism certified, ZAA members, and have implemented an environmental management plan as a part of our ongoing commitment to a sustainable future.
