Take a break for the weekend or the week, perfect for a long holiday break, and escape to JBs Nelson Bay for a fun filled family holiday, within walking distance to two amazing swimming beaches, the popular Little Beach family friendly swimming beach and boat ramp and the iconic Shoal Bay Beach. This property really is situated perfectly between the two bays.
There is room for everyone in this spacious two storey beach style property. On the top floor of this house there is a tiled open plan living area, which offers modern furnishings, including a comfortable lounge with chaise, timber dining table with ten wooden chairs, 101cm LCD TV, DVD, i-pod dock, air conditioning, ceiling fan.
Bring the inside out and the outside in, where the living area leads out to the ‘Queenslander style’ covered balcony at the front of the property or enjoy the privacy of the rear balcony, through the kitchen on the rear of the property, overlooking the back yard, with outdoor setting, ideal for al fresco dining, on either side of the property. There are a couple of BBQs for your convenience and use during your stay.
The open plan family sized kitchen comes fully equipped, providing guests with the option to prepare meals at home or dine out and includes an under-bench oven, glass stove top and hood, microwave, dishwasher, full size fridge /freezer, pantry and plenty of bench space.
The main bedroom comes with a timber queen size bed with matching side tables, mirrored built-in robe, ceiling fan plus private access to the front veranda and sun bed.
The second bedroom has a double size bed and dresser with the third bedroom offering two single beds and a mirrored built-in robe.
The main bathroom comes with floor to ceiling tiles, glass shower, vanity and toilet.
The downstairs area of the property offers a second tiled living area located on the ground level which has a 2x seater lounge, LCD TV ideal for the kids game consoles (BYO), portable CD player and access to the front sun-drench porch and main entrance.
The carpeted fourth bedroom adjacent to the living area has a queen size bed and a mirrored built-in robe and a ceiling fan with the fifth bedroom providing guests with a Tri-bunk bed (single on-top and double on-bottom).
The downstairs bathroom has a glass shower and toilet with separate vanity and mini bar fridge.
The house is perfectly set out to enable families to bond and enjoy good times together, but also the option to live under the same roof but spend separate family time together, at other times.
Each bedroom upstairs has a ceiling fan, including the main bedroom downstairs, whilst the room with tribunk has a stand alone fans located in the bedroom..
The Laundry is a full laundry, external to the property, located in the rear yard.
Each level of the property is divided by an external staircase, one set of stairs is located on the side front of the house, and the other at the rear of the property.
More about the area: Ideally positioned between Shoal Bay and Nelson Bay, this property has you at the centre of all the beaches, attractions, access to a boat ramp and more. The foreshore at Little Beach is only metres away from your front door, the beach itself, is great for swimming, for the elderly, and for young children. There are plenty of spots to sit and have a , picnic on the grassed area, or sand, but there are also top class restaurants including The Boat House, The Wests club, takeaway shop, playgrounds, skate parks and more.
Nelson Bay Lighthouse is only a short walk from home, where you can take in 180-degree water views while enjoying tea and scones at the lighthouse tea rooms or visit the museum in the 1875 lighthouse cottage. Also, at your fingertips is the quieter Western end of Shoal Bay Beach (Just 400m away) with its pristine white sands and turquoise waters.
This property is within a 5-minute drive to the local Nelson Bay CBD and D’Albora Marina, where the family can enjoy restaurants, shopping at boutiques, surf stores, major supermarket chains, souvenir shops, butches, cafes, banks and more. Whilst in the area, hop on a dolphin/whale watch cruise, learn to dive, hire a jet ski, kayak or fishing boat, there is definitely something there for everyone.

This property does not include sheets or towels, please bring your own or book the linen service. The property has pillows, blankets and quilts.
The linen service is $60 for King/Queen and $50 for Single. All beds will be freshly made for your arrival, bath towels, bath mats and hand towels are included (BYO beach towels).

Wi-fi is offered as a complimentary extra. As there is no charge issues will be dealt with ASAP but cannot be guaranteed.
To ensure the comfort of our guests and the neighbours, we do not accept bookings for “Schoolies” breaks/under 21yrs groups and under no circumstances do we allow weddings or parties of any sort.
Payment for the booking warrants you and all guests staying will abide by the Code of Conduct for Short Term Rental Accommodation which can be viewed under the Guest Information tab on our website or a link which will be sent to you in your booking confirmation email.
This property is a holiday rental, it is not a principal place of residence and there are no shared rooms. Enjoy your time in comfort and privacy.
Terms and conditions apply for this property and payment warrants your agreement and that of all other guests staying at the property with you.
The guest limits apply at all times during the booking. Any extra guests (this includes day visitors) above those that have been booked and paid for must be approved in writing prior to the stay. Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission. This is not possible at all properties.
If you or any other guest receives a warning regarding excess noise or excess guests, you may be asked to leave the property IMMEDIATELY with no refund of monies. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
This property is approved for accommodation only. No mattresses, tents, caravans or more cars than the property accommodates are allowed. Under no circumstances are the following activities permitted at any of our properties: motorbikes, dirt bikes, quad bikes, use of firearms or air rifles, fireworks.
Out of peak season stays of a week or more may qualify for a discount, please send us a message.

For your added security, this property is managed by a Licensed Real Estate Agent. We will never request payments be made to an overseas bank account and your money is held safely in our Trust Account until after your departure.
